Guidelines for naming pages. The name is the part of the url after the 'site root' or 'index.php?title='. The name of this page for instance is 'Naming pages' which in the url is shown as 'Naming_pages'. Below are some examples of how to name a page:
Department or chair:
- Department_name
- example: Media_Studies
- Chair_name
Course and sub pages:
- Course_name
- example: mEYEsite
- example: Material_Science
- Course_name:_Subject
- example: mEYEsite:_GPS_workshop
- example: Material_Science:_Plastics
Course codes:
- Course_code (on the page of the course code you should use a redirect to the related 'Course_name')
- example: AR0320
