Maya Optionbox

Some commands and tools in the Maya menu have an optionbox. The optionbox is used to change the settings of a command or tool.

Command and Tool settings
If you use the optionbox to change the settings, Maya stores the settings (in your user profile). So the settings will be remembered and applied when you use the command or tool again.
If you want to restore the default settings, use in the options window.
