Bouncing Ball Basics

From TOI-Pedia

This tutorial is under construction!

This tutorial covers the basics needed to make a bouncing ball animation. As with all animation it requires practice and a critical eye to optimize the bouncing sequence.

We will start with setting the first animation keyframes as an overall animation structure. After which we will use the graph editor to tweak the keyframes to accelerate or slow down the ball. And finally we will add squash and stretch to the ball as to create a more convincing appearance to the ball's movement.

Setting the first keys

Make sure you have set your fps rate to 25.
