You can combine multiple files into a single PDF file using Adobe Acrobat Professional. The files can be of various formats: PDF, DWG, BMP, GIF, HTML, JPG, DOC, PPT, XLS, PNG, TXT and TIFF.

Note that this option is not available when you're using the free Adobe Reader software; you must use the (non-free) Adobe Acrobat Professional.

To convert multiple files:

  1. Choose File>Create PDF>From Multiple Files, or use the shelf button.
  2. Click browse to locate the files to be included, uses shift-select or control-select to select multiple files
  3. Rearrange the files if needed (especially when the numbering of your files is ..1.. ..2.. instead of ..01.. ..02..) by dragging them in the list.
  4. Click OK
  5. Save the PDF
With most installations you can also select the files in any Windows explorer window and then right-click and choose Combine (supported) files in Acrobat...
