Drawing techniques
We are using AutoCAD mainly for creating 2D architectural drawings. The main purpose of a drawing is conveying information. To do this properly, we need to take a closer look at the existing conventions first.
We have the NEN norms relating to drawing techniques. It's a good idea to familiarize yourself with these norms, as you are going to need to use them often.
Pay special attention to line weights, line types, color and the different hatch types.
Bouwtechnisch tekenen Is a useful website (in Dutch) with drawing techniques, and some NEN norms are listed there as well.
