The course is divided into two quarters; the first quarter is an explore phase, where students do small exercises and in the second quarter the ambitions of the design and technical exercises will be used to create your website.

Workshop two: Flash Basics

Topic

This workshop covers the basics of flash. We instruct two tutorials on creating a movie in flash.

Exercise

Create your first flash animation as introduction to this course; make sure it is no wider then 400px; Upload it into infobase and place it on your blog.

Embed SWF To embed an SWF first make sure it's uploaded somewhere. AR0051 students can upload their work into Infobase. Look up the SWF file via the Infobase studentwork browser. View the file in the browser (by clicking it). Use the html view (tab "edit html") in a new post and copy the URL into the following code:
